Biography

Mamoru Kusanagi (Japanese: 藤宮 紅葉, Hepburn: Fujimiya Momiji)

Around this time, the Aragami came to awaken and sought to continue their survival in the world. Thus, Orochi sought out the family that were attempting to sacrifice the Kushinada and thus put the Aragami into their slumber once more. The creature killed Mamoru's parents but the infant was taken in by Orochi who had a special plan for the boy. He implanted within the child seven mitama that contained the souls of Aragam and giving the human offspring superhuman powers. He then charged Mamoru Kusanagi with the task of watching over the Kushinada and ensuring that no harm came on them until the Aragami were ready to enact their grand plan.

Powers and abilities

Originally, Mamoru was an ordinary human being until his body had mitama implanted within it thus turning him into an Aragami hybrid.
