Massa di Requiem per Shuggay was an opera written by the Italian composer Benvento Chieti Bordighera in 1768. It tells the tale of the end of the planet Shaggai, and the travels of its natives through space. Although the score is supposedly unplayable (due to portions written for unknown instruments and using unknown notes), it was presented once and only once, leading to its being banned by Pope Clement XIII in 1769.
