Massimo

Massimo was a New Republic lieutenant who served under Mirith Sinn on Phaeda. He did not trust the renegade Imperial Royal Guardsman Kir Kanos, not even when Kanos saved them from the onslaught of Imperial forces led by Col. Xexus Shev. When it was revealed that Tem Merkon was the informant who had told Shev where their base was (and later also Carnor Jax himself), Massimo followed Mirith Sinn and Sish Sadeet to Merkon's house and hid in the shadows, subsequently attacking and killing Merkon with a knife.

Following the death of Carnor Jax on Yinchorr, Massimo became Mirith Sinn's new second-in-command when Sish Sadeet was killed on Yinchorr by Kanos as well. However Massimo soon turned evil and betrayed both Sinn and Kanos to Grappa the Hutt on Geron. On Xo, the Zanibar homeworld, Sinn and Kanos were to be executed in a bizarre religious ceremony. They escaped, and Massimo was knocked onto a bed of hot coals, scarring him for life. He later sought revenge against Kir Kanso, who survived and killed Massimo.
