History
Massive Dynamic was a company that was founded by William Bell who first created it in 1992 as BELLMEDICS alongside his chief operating officer Nina Sharp. It was originally founded with the intention of helping soldiers that had lost limbs during the Persian Gulf War and received support from the United States Department of Defense. In time, it expanded its operations where it developed microlaser surgical tools for medical use. By 1998, Bell established Fleming-Monroe Aeronautics that had developed technology such as the PEARL Aerocontrol System. BELLMEDICS later acquired Fleming-Monroe Aeronautics in 1999 and the merger saw it rebranding itself as Massive Dynamic.
