Maugrim is a male character who features in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Biography

Maugrim was a male talking wolf who was said to had been born during the Age of Winter in the lands of Narnia where he eventually came to find service under the White Witch. He came to be a member of her secret police where he eventually rose to the position of captain.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Maugrim was a grey wolf with eyes flaming who was said to be huge with him being far too big to be a dog. He was also known by the name of the Fenris Ulf.

Maugrim was noted for being one of the White Witch's most loyal followers and was known for his cruelty to the other Narnians.

Powers and abilities

Maugrim was born as one of the race of talking wolves that were native to the lands of Narnia. Among his kind, he was noted for being massive in size and particularly ferocious.

  • Maugrim was created by C. S. Lewis where he featured in the setting of the The Chronicles of Narnia universe.
