In UFO folklore, the Men in Black are shadowy humanoids clad in black. Sometimes they are normal humans, other times unusually pale or strangely featured. Men in Black drive in black automobiles and are often found discouraging those who see UFOs from coming forward, often by threats. They have also been known to threaten those who investigate UFOs and even, in one case, support debunkers.

They are believed to be either operatives of the government or a conspirational group, supernatural entities, or servants of the extraterrestrials themselves.
