After days of rallying the people against vigilantes, Mirror led a march of people across Gotham, giving an anti-mask speech that was broadcast across the city. The march was met by a group of counter-protestors, each wearing imitation masks of various members of the Batman Family. Mirror eagerly started a fight between the two groups, luring Batman himself into the fray. Mirror fought Batman for a moment, but when it became apparent he would lose, he decided to make himself a martyr, jumping into the river and detonating a hidden explosive, apparently killing himself.
