Biography
Sahn-Uzal was born long ago as a male human on Runeterra where he grew up to become a fierce warlord that rampaged across the northern wildlands. Following a dark faith, he went to crush every tribe and settlement that lay before him where he forged an empire formed from blood and death. In his old age, he believed that his achievements had earnt him a place within his pantheon's fabled afterlife that was the Hall of Bones for all eternity. However, upon his death, he found nothing waiting for him and that the promised afterlife was instead an empty gray-wasteland covered by fog and he was plagued by discordant whispers. The souls of others were also lost where they drifted as ghostly forms with each consumed in their own personal hell. Enraged, he came to believe that his faith was misplaced and the promised afterlife was a lie as he could only see these other souls fade into the fog and disappear from existence. However, Sahn-Uzal refused to have this be his fate and was driven by his rage that kept him coherent. In time, he came to learn that the whispers from the fog was Ochnun that was a profane language which was not spoken by the living. With this, he enacted a plan for his return and managed to pierce the veil between worlds and his whispers came to the living where he offered his great strength to any that would listen to him. In time, his words were heard by a coven of sorcerers that sought to bring Sahn-Uzal back to life. Without a mortal body of flesh and bone, he told his followers to craft him a form of dark metal in the guise of his old armour and one that his spirit-form could inhabit leading to him becoming a hulking revenant powered by hatred.
