Mortuus Invitus is an organization that features in Marvel Comics.

History

Mortuus Invitus (Latin: Unwilling Undead) were a sect of Vampires who rejected their bloodlust and feeding on humans. They came to hunt down others of their kind that targeted humans and killed them. (Tomb of Dracula v4 #2)

Dracula came to summon all the vampire sects to his side though those of the Mortuus Invitus rejected his call. (Tomb of Dracula v4 #2)

An American sect of them came to save the life of Blade, Noah van Helsing and other hunters from vampires that were serving Dracula. (Tomb of Dracula v4 #2)

Overview

In appearance, the Mortuus Invitus were an international organization of vampires that rejected their bloodlust and desire to feed on humans. They also extended this to others of their kind who they killed if they hunted humans. (Tomb of Dracula v4 #2)
