The NDR series were a type of robot that featured in the movie Bicentennial Man.
Background
The NDR series were created by Humanity and appeared as a Humanoid shaped metallic skinned robot with an expressionless face. They were programmed to serve their creators and their processors allowed them to adapt as well as learn from their experiences. They were equipped with various tools such as a holo-projector that could unfold from its head and project a three dimensional image.
One famous NDR series robot was Andrew who went on a quest to become Human through the use of advancing Human technology.
