History

The Navy Engineers Power Tower Under Nuclear Energy (N.E.P.T.U.N.E.) was a powerful human computer system that was built into a large station eons ago. It was created by Venusian Public Works prior to Venus becoming a burnt out planet thousands of years ago. Upon its creation, the artificial intelligence made use of powerful force fields to create a phenomena that resembled a black hole. It did this in order o clear the spaceways of derelicts, burnt out satellites and other dangerous space hazards. A result of this was the formation of the Legendary Sea of Lost Spaceships as numerous craft became dragged into the black hole. The management and control of the space tower was done so completely by the computer. For untold centuries, it began trapping any debris in its vicinity until it was destroyed by Lion-O who was looking for the Sword of Omens.

Overview

In appearance, N.E.P.T.U.N.E. was a large spherical floating supercomputer that resided in a huge power station. The huge power station had no human control with the computer in control of itself. It considered this fortunate as it felt that a human force would have led to the plant being broken down eons ago. Despite this being the case, the station did possess facilities for organic occupants such as the old space sailors rest that the computer used as a detention area that were made of solid titanium. Due to the artificial intelligence's nature, it was said to be pointless to argue with it as one could not reason with a computer.

Among the station's capabilities was the generation of powerful forcefields that were able to create a pocket of space with the entrance resembling a massive black hole. Anything that entered the tower's space was claimed under salvage right and viciously protected them. Furthermore, any travelers that were trapped within the force field was trapped under the watch of N.E.P.T.U.N.E. who did not allow anyone to return home. It was able to generate a tow beam designed to latch onto ships to drag into itself through a positive magnetic force generated at the magnetic transformers. All records, logs and registries were expected to be brought to it
