Biography
Norman Harold Osborn
The babysitter had taken Normie and Stanley against their wishes as they wanted to be reunited with their parents. It was then that Liz, Harry and Mark had arrived to take back the children as they confronted Emma about kidnapping them as they believed she had done it for Norman Osborn. However, Emma revealed that she had taken the children to protect them from Osborn. It was then that Norman Osborn arrived where he transformed in the form of the Red Goblin where he discovered that the babysitter was actually his wife Emma Lyman who was long believed dead. Before he could kidnap his family, Osborn was distracted by the intervention of Spider-Man's allies. This allowed Emma along with the others to escape as they intended to hide from Norman but before they could do so the Red Goblin arrived to infect Normie with a piece of his Symbiote thus transforming him into what he believed was to be the new legacy of the Osborn family. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #799) He was turned into a smaller copy of the Red Goblin called the Goblin Childe where he was dispatched to kill Aunt May after Norman saw Peter Parker still operating as Spider-Man. As Normie, he went into May's home and intended to murder her but was stopped by Doctor Octopus who stated that the woman was under his protection. J. Jonah Jameson participated in the battle through a Spider-Slayer to protect May where they managed to stop the Goblin Childe but were defeated in turn by the Red Goblin. Norman took his grandson to Alchemax where he intended to take over the company to restore the Osborn business empire. This was by murdering Harry and Liz so that Normie would inherit the company under a beneficiary clause with Norman then serving as his grandsons legal guardian to manage his affairs. Upon seeing this, Normie turned against his grandfather and returned to his parents with Alchemax being used to remove the Symbiote matter from his body thus seemingly turning him back to normal. In the aftermath, Dylan continued staying with the Osborn's where Normie maintained his friendship with Brock. However, over time, this developed into resentment as he blamed them for the actions that caused his grandfather to be sent to the asylum. (Web of Venom: The Good Son v1 #1)

Personality and attributes
After being infected with the Carnage Symbiote, he began to refer to himself as the Goblin Childe. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #800)
He was noted to had resented his father for seemingly showing more attention to his younger half-brother Stanley then him. This was part of the reason why he sided with his grandfather but after seeing Norman nearly kill his parents it saw Normie turn against Norman. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #800)
Peter Parker was noted for being Normie's godfather. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #800)
