Biography
Nuada was the elvish prince and son of King Balor who ruled the land of the magical realms. According to his people's beliefs, his people that included other mystical beings such as goblins, ogres, fairies, trolls and other such creatures once lived together in harmony. However, the greed of humanity led to a desire for conquest and they warred against the magical beings of the world. King Balor would rise as the ruler of the elves and leader of the magical races where he watched his people slaughtered by the hands of mankind. During the conflict, a mater goblin blacksmith approached the king and offered to build him soldiers to fight his war. Prince Nuada managed to convince his father to accept the offer and thus the Golden Army was created that was let loose against their human foes. The Army butchered their enemies but indiscriminately slaughtered them where they did not tell the difference between soldier or civilian. This led to King Balor realizing that the massacre surpassed anything that the humans had done to them. A horrified Balor thus sealed away the Golden Army and forged a truce with mankind in order to create a lasting peace. To prevent the Army from arising again, he had split the magical crown that controlled them into three parts. Two of these pieces resided with the elves whilst the third was given to humanity for safekeeping.
