Biography
Origin
Nuidis Vulko
Post-Crisis
Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
It was noted that he came into the service of King Trevis where he was by his liege's side when his wife Atlanna became pregnant. He was present when the child was born with this being Prince Orin who bore the Sign of Kordax that was indicated by the newborn's yellow hair. This caused some to fall to superstition as they claimed that the child would bring about doom for Atlantis though Vulko looked to dismiss their claims. However, Trevis decided to abandon the child and ordered that the word be given that the boy died of complications. Sometime afterwards, it was learnt that King Trevis was found dead in his chambers with this resulting in a revolution in Atlantis due to rising political tensions that had engulfed the city. (Atlantis Chronicles v1 #7)
Post-Flashpoint
Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events.
He came to serve as an advisor to Atlanna until her son Orm was 12 years old when his father was killed and his mother saw this as an opportunity to leave Atlantis. Vulko was responsible for arranging the escape of the queen and her son but she was seemingly murdered on the night of her escape. Her advisor came to believe that the young Orm was responsible for his mothers death but despite the accusations of murder it was the prince's loyalists that had Vulko arrested. Despite the arrest, he managed to escape and escaped to the surface world where he started to live among humans who were unaware of his Atlantean heritage where he sought out Atlanna's second born son namely Arthur in the belief that he would defeat Orm and claim the throne of Atlantis as king. (Aquaman v7 #0)
Later on, Earth came under attack from Warzoon raiders who were defeated by Superman leading to Warworld technology falling into the ocean. It was quickly claimed by Atlantis who started to study it and its unique power source where they took it as salvage without looking to share it with the surface world. (Action Comics v1 #1031) Vulko was present during the study when it suddenly caused gigantic monsters to emerge from the ocean where they began to attack the U.S. until they were stopped by Superman. The attack resulted in the U.S. wanting to confiscate the Warworld technology but the Atlanteans refused leading to rising tensions on both sides. (Action Comics v1 #1032)
