Biography
Origin
Olivia Reynolds
During the invasion of the Mogrian robots, an alien historian of the Lenglyns revealed Olivia was what they consider a U-Mind, a possessor of great telepathic power. Their race's survival depended entirely on that U-Mind, but Olivia must be unaware of that power for it to work. Green Lantern and the Flash teamed up to defeat the invaders and save the kidnapped Olivia, but Hal used his ring to erase all memories of the U-Mind from her mind. (The Flash v1 #191)
Some time later, Kiman, Chief Weaponer of Qward, decided to kidnap Olivia and use her mental powers, which they called "Ergono," to open an ancient treasure in the form of a giant golden monolith. Kiman managed to open it, only to find it empty. Green Lantern traveled to Qward and rescued Olivia, but erased all memories from the U-Mind once again. (Green Lantern v2 #75)
Years later, Olivia and Green Lantern reunited in New York. Olivia had a new line of action figures with the theme of the Green Lantern Corps, and she asked the hero for his approval. Hal, not happy with the idea of selling his image or the Corps', refused to take part in the deal. (Green Lantern v3 #29)
Shortly after, Olivia and Green Lantern got again involved in a battle between the Qwardians and the Lenglyns. This conflict also included Adam Strange's daughter, Aleea, who also possessed the U-Mind. This confrontation saw Olivia become possessed by the Ergono power, and she became a leader of the Qwardians. Green Lantern, with the help of Aleea's U-Mind, succeeded in returning Olivia to her normal self, again unaware of her powers. (Green Lantern v3 #39)
Post-Flashpoint
Following the Flashpoint, a new version of reality was created with a different history of events. Olivia Reynolds survived in this new timeline where she retained much of her past history including her encounters with Hal Jordan. She represented her toy company when a new find was made at the museum that revealed a gargantuan race called the Golden Giants had once existed on Earth. This led to her encounter the Flash who had called in Green Lantern Hal Jordan to help him on the case. Whilst examining artefacts of this civilisation, Olivia was grabbed by a giant hand and taken to Neo-Pangea that was a giant toy construct of Earth that was built by a type omega civilisation situated in the Perseus Arm of the Galactic Spiral. This race of Golden Giants had intended to invade Earth with the Flash and Green Lantern battling them but they were overwhelmed by their attackers. To stop them, the Flash reminded Ms. Reynolds that she still possessed the U-Mind. This restored her old memories and she used her abilities to stop the Golden Giants invasion whereupon the three returned to Earth. Retaining her memories, Hal Jordan voiced concern that if Olivia ever fell under sway to her darker impulses that she could casually annihilate entire civilisations.
