The Order of Magdalene was a group that featured in Chrono Crusade.
Background
The Order of Magdalene was an organization linked to the Catholic Church and charged with the task of banishing devils as well as demons. Its influence and resources meant that it had many branches ranging from Chicago to San Francisco as well as Seattle. Each of these were presided over by a Council of the Catholic Church whilst its agents worked to battle the forces of darkness. Whilst holding many members, in times of great crisis, the Order was known to accept new less favorable individuals in order to fight against their enemies.
Weaponry within the Order ranged from guns to swords with many of these developed by the New York branch.
