History
The Others was the name of an informal team that came together consisting of Arthur Curry and others that came to possess the Relics of Atlantis. (Aquaman v7 #8)
Six years ago, the team were in Siberia where they were in pursuit of Black Manta who was targeting them to claim the Relics of Atlantis. (Aquaman v7 #8)
The organization known as the Others mobilized as a decentralized group of individuals, each possessing a unique relic of Atlantis, to track and confront the entity known as Black Manta. Black Manta began targeting the Others in order to claim their various relics with him first tracking and killing Kahina the Seer where he took her Golden Seal for himself. During their initial coordinated efforts, the members utilized their specific artifacts to locate one another across the globe after the assassination of one of their former associates. Kahina the Seer utilized her ability to see the future to anticipate threats, while the Operative employed a cloaking craft and advanced surveillance technology to infiltrate high-security environments. The group engaged in a series of skirmishes to prevent Black Manta from seizing their Atlantean relics, which he sought to consolidate for their immense power. Ya'Wara utilized her telepathic connection with jungle cats to provide reconnaissance and physical support, and Vostok-X employed a specialized jetpack and life-support suit to facilitate aerial maneuvers and combat in extreme environments. Prisoner-of-War utilized his ability to channel the skills and memories of his deceased comrades to provide tactical versatility during these engagements. Their primary goals and objectives were the protection and safeguarding of the seven powerful Relics of Atlantis, ensuring these ancient artifacts did not fall into the hands of those who would misuse their immense power. They acted as a mutual defense pact, dedicated to tracking down threats to their members and preventing the systematic theft of their mystical heritage by adversaries like Black Manta. Regarding their clothing and costumes, the members wore highly individualized gear that reflected their specific origins and the requirements of their relics. The Operative wore a formal, dark three-piece suit equipped with hidden tactical gadgets, while Vostok-X wore a bulky, white-and-red Soviet-era cosmonaut suit integrated with a propulsion jetpack. Ya'Wara wore minimal, tribal-inspired attire suited for jungle environments, and Prisoner-of-War wore tattered military fatigues draped in heavy iron chains that bound his relics to his body.
