Overtkill

Overtkill is a male comic supervillain who features in Spawn.

Biography

Nicholas Rocca was a male human who was born in Sicily, Italy.

At 13 years old, he was already a thug running an extortion racket to local businesses and even offering himself as a leg breaker for the mob. Soon he became one and was hired by a mob boss named Luciano. During a job he ended up killing the son of a rival mob boss and soon that mob boss called in favors from oil-rich Arabs and thus the Arabs got people to attack Rocca and the massacred him. However, he did survive and was rebuilt into a cyborg.

Nicholas worked as a hitman for Luciano Bartino, but was considered an expendable asset. When he died in a hit his boss didn't care for the loss. However, Luciano was approached by Eylan Hessman, Nicholas' half-brother. With funding, Hessman promised to rebuild Rocca into the ultimate killing machine for him. However, this backfired once activated and Rocca smashed Hessman's skull in killing him instantly. (Curse of Spawn v1 #23) When Overtkill went on a rampage, he became a target for the US goverment. They released Pandemic to destroy him. However, instead of following through on his orders, Pandemic turned Overtkill on his captors and had him destroy his old US prison in Area 51. (Curse of Spawn v1 #24)

Facing pressure from frequent mob killings that they blamed on Spawn, Tony Twist brought OvertKill to New York City from Italy. OvertKill used innocent civilians to draw Spawn out from the shadows where he nearly killed him. (Spawn v1 #6) Wanting to save his Necroplasm, Spawn used explosives stolen from a Central Intelligence Agency owned warehouse to disable OvertKill in their next meeting. (Spawn v1 #7)

Overt-Kill would later return and hired by Jason Wynn to kill Terry Fitzgerald who he feared was going to learn about Al Simmons. Overt-Kill nearly killed Terry until Spawn came and fought him. Soon Detective Twitch Williams shoots him in the ear causing his circuits to go mad and decides to go get revenge on Badrock.

Powers and abilities

He was able to shoot a laser blast from his cybernetically enhanced eye with enough force to knock a man over and carve a hole through their chest. (Spawn v1 #23)
