History
The Palace of Eternity was an edifice situated within the timestream and had been constructed by the Lord of Time. It was designed to serve as a base of operations for the future conqueror who had it being governed by an artificial intelligence known as the Eternity Brain. The construct had the means to open dimensional portals to any time period demanded by the Lord of Time. However, he would come to fear the capabilities of the Eternity Brain which he attempted to shut down. This attempt would fail leading to the Lord of Time recruiting five warriors from different periods of Earth' history. These were banded together into a group informally known as the Five Warriors From Forever who were tasked with disabling the Eternity Brain. The time-displaced adventurers would raid the palace but were unable to stop the machinations of the artificial intelligence which turned the Palace's defences against them leading to their capture.
