History
The Pentacle were a team of mystically tied villains who were under the leadership of Strega. (Shadowpact v1 #1)
At Riverrock, the Pentacle was gathering the inhabitants of the town who they used as a human sacrifice for a necromancy spell. To prevent the townspeople from escaping, a blood barrier was created that took the form of a red sphere which encased the settlement. (Shadowpact v1 #1)
Overview
They were capable of conducting spells such as necromancy that was a type of magic capable of overcoming death itself. Such rituals were powered by death and thus required human sacrifice in order to enact the spell. (Shadowpact v1 #1)

- Strega :
- Jack of Fire : Jack Cassidy was the brother of Dan Cassidy who was transformed into a demon where he came to be known as Jack of Fire. (Shadowpact v1 #23) He was cursed to be a demon where he gained superhuman strength and the ability to emit fire though suffered from a grotesque appearance. (Shadowpact v1 #2)
- White Rabbit : an albino male who wore a jacket and dark glasses where he wielded a mystical sword capable of making a person sleep with but a cut and he had some skill in swordmanship. (Shadowpact v1 #2)
- Sister Shadow : a woman with long white hair who was capable of taking on a number of shadow forms ranging from gorillas to dragons. (Shadowpact v1 #2)
- Bagman : a green skinned fat mystical entity who was a shapeshifter. (Shadowpact v1 #1) With his abilities, he could absorb others into his body and slowly digest them or regurgitate them later. (Shadowpact v1 #2)
