- Philippus was created by George Pérez where she made her first appearance in Wonder Woman v2 #1 (February, 1987).
Alternate Versions
- In Flashpoint: Wonder Woman and the Furies v1 #1 (2011), an alternate version of Philippus appeared in the Flashpoint reality that existed in a world within the Multiverse. Phillipus was with Princess Diana when she decided to sneak off Paradise Island in a boat to meet the outside world fourteen years ago, keeping her secret. A year ago, during the funeral of Queen Hippolyta, who was allegedly murdered by the Atlantean Garth during the marriage of Diana and Arthur of Atlantis, the war between the Amazons and the Atlanteans began. Phillipus was the first casualty, causing Diana to lose control and retaliate by attacking her ex-fiance.

- In Justice League, Philippus appeared in the setting of the 2001 animated television series set in the DC Animated Universe where she was voiced by actress Julianne Grossman. Philipus was an Amazon and a soldier in the Amazon army where she was a friend of Diana. When Felix Faust invaded Themyscira, Phillipus was, like all other Amazons, turned into a stone statue. Later, Phillipus and the other Amazons were ordered by the Queen to search for the one responsible for stealing the gold. Soon after, she and the other caught Hawkgirl snooping around on the island, and brought her before Hippolyta.

- In Wonder Woman, Philippus appeared in the setting of the 2017 live-action film where she was portrayed by actress Ann Ogbomo. Philippus was created as an Amazon warrior by Zeus just like her other sisters. She served her Queen Hippolyta for thousands of years. Philippus participated in the battle against the German Army who invaded Themyscira. She was also present during the interrogation of Steve Trevor.
- In Justice League, Philippus appeared in the setting of the 2017 live-action film where she was portrayed once again by actress Ann Ogbomo. Philippus also participated in the battle against Steppenwolf during the War for Earth.
- In Zack Snyder's Justice League, Phillipus appeared in the setting of the 2021 live-action film extended cut where she was portrayed again by actress Ann Ogbomo. Millennia ago, Philippus and her fellow Amazons allied themselves with the Old Gods, Mankind, the Atlanteans and the Green Lantern Corps to fight Darkseid who had come to conquer and remake the Earth into a planet similar to Apokolips. The war was eventually won by the alliance and Darkseid's army retreated, leaving the three Mother Boxes behind. The boxes were left under the control of Mankind, the Amazons and the Atlanteans.
