Biography

"Poison" is a member of an unidentified species that was hunted to near-extinction by Matoran. In an act of revenge, Poison attacked a Matoran settlement and fought with its Toa defenders. This battle was watched by several Dark Hunters, who were so impressed with Poison that they brought him to Odina to be recruited into their organization. There, it was discovered that Poison had a natural reserve of paralyzing venom that he did not know how to use, so he was trained in its use by Nidhiki.

When the Great Spirit Robot was critically damaged in the Battle of Bara Magna, Poison and the other surviving Dark Hunters emigrated from the Matoran Universe to Spherus Magna.

Overview

Personality and attributes

Like most living beings native to the Matoran Universe, Poison is a biomechanical lifeform whose body consists of both organic and metallic protodermis. He is somewhat unintelligent but harbors a deep hatred of Matoran owed to their treatment of his species.

Powers and abilities

As his name suggests, Poison's body contains natural reserves of a paralyzing venom which, if left untreated after half an hour, will kill the victim. Though his body generates and stores the venom, he is not immune to it and would become similarly paralyzed if he was injected with a dosage.

Notes

  • The Poison model was created by Issac Evavold and entered into the LEGO Magazine Dark Hunter Building Contest in 2005. Poison was one of the winning entries and was subsequently given an official storyline role by Greg Farshtey and put into the BIONICLE: Dark Hunters guidebook.
