Power Pad

The Power Pad was a device worn by Captain N on his belt. Resembling the standard game control pad of the Nintendo Entertainment System, the Power Pad can create a variety of effects. These include moving at superspeed, stopping time (with the Pause button, naturally), jumping extremely high (using the A button), levitating in mid-air, and performing various amazing acrobatic feats. The drawback to the Power Pad is its limited power supply- this has worked against Captain N at times, especially when using the energy-intensive Pause function.
