Biography
Prankster was a male human who in an unknown future on Earth within the city of Ultrapolis. He came to oppose the brutal totalitarian rule of the city's authorities who outlawed love and art with these being punished by public execution. This saw him team up with his friend and cohort Hiram Grave in fighting against the authorities where he became a vigilante known as the Prankster. During one such execution, he managed to intervene and save the man's laugh where he helped him escape past the borders of the city. (Thunderbolt v1 #60)

Personality and attributes
His home of Ultrapolis was noted as a place ruled through brute force where expressions such as love, laughter, music and art were crimes punishable by death. In fact, executions were noted for being a common place and held publicly. To combat this, the Prankster used humour and courage as tools to combat evil. (Thunderbolt v1 #60)
Powers and abilities
Among his talents was being skilled in disguise where he could take a variety of appearances such as that of an old man. (Thunderbolt v1 #60)
This included using laughing gas in order to make his foes vulnerable to a counterattack. (Thunderbolt v1 #60)
Hiram Graves later provided him his latest invention which was called the Magic Flute. (Thunderbolt v1 #60)
