Biography
Priscilla was born in the town of Musha who was the youngest of three children with her being close to her family and especially her father. When she was young, her father was turned into a Yoma though his true nature was not known to the villagers. In order to flush out the creature, the villagers of Musha split the inhabitants into groups and quarantined them. On one night, Priscilla woke up and stumbled on her father in his Yoma form eating her family. In horror, she managed to creep on the Yoma and beheaded it with a bladed weapon. Afterwards, the people of Musha refused to enter the home after smelling the scent of decay leaving Priscilla alone with food no longer being delivered. For the next month, the young girl only managed to survive by eating the flesh of her dead Yoma father. At some point afterwards, she was discovered by the Organization who made her into a Claymore. She quickly arose to the position of No. 2 in the Organization due to her power after only a few months in the field. Around this time, the Claymore Teresa of the Faint-Smile who was No. 1 was declared a rogue by the Organization for killing a group of humans. As a result, she was to be captured and executed but she resisted any attempt at arrest. Thus, the Organization had a team of Claymores assembled with the purpose of eliminating her. This group was led by Quicksword Ilena with Priscilla ordered to join this team with the express purpose of killing Teresa.
She arrived in the town where she massacred an entire horde of Yoma easily at which point she met up with Irene, Sophia and Noel. The plan was for the three Claymores to lure Teresa out of the building in the town she was hiding in with Priscilla using her Yoki suppression to sneak up on her to eliminate her. However, Priscilla refused to engage in such a tactic as she believed it was not honorable with her instead deciding to fight one-on-one with Teresa. Initially, she seemed to hold her ground against Teresa but as time continued her opponent stopped relying on her Yoki sensing ability and instead used her skill. Thus, quickly, Priscilla became outclassed forcing her three fellow Claymores to join the battle. Priscilla felt that the four of them against Teresa was not honorable but Irene ordered her to complete her mission. Despite her attacks, she proved to be slowly ineffective against Teresa who began to use a more controlled use of her powers. She managed to defeat the other Claymores with Priscilla becoming obsessed at not being able to achieve her objective. In desperation, she began to release her Yoki as part of her goal to kill Teresa but failed to accomplish the task where she was effortlessly defeated. As a result, she became fixated on killing her foe to the point that she had surpassed her limit and her body threatened to transform her into an awakened being. The now monstrous appearing Priscilla was on her knees begging to be killed by Teresa who hesitated allowing Priscilla to slice her hands off with her sword. In a moment of shock, Priscilla than proceeded to decapitate Teresa thus killing her and fully transformed into an awakened being. Once transformed, she immediately felt a hunger for flesh and killed removed Irene's arm. This put her at odds with the former members of her execution team where she slaughtered them and seemingly killed Irene but left the young Clare alone.
At some point, she attacked a village where she killed most of its inhabitants. Among the only survivors was a young girl by the name of Ophellia who survived after her brother sacrificed himself so that she could live. Eventually, she arrived in the Northern Territory of Alphonse where she dealt a large amount of damage in the area. During this time, she encountered one of the Creatures of the Abyss named Isley. He was one of the most powerful Awakened Beings in the world and was an ancient male Claymore that had long ago surpassed his limit. The pair battled which only ended when Priscilla reverted into a human-like state for reasons unknown and had suffered from amnesia. Isley would keep her as his travelling companion with the quiet Priscilla remaining in this state for sometime. In the aftermath, he began bringing together all the Awakened Beings in his territory into an army and began starting conflict which drew the attention of his fellow Creatures of the Abyss. In her child-like state, she accompanied Isley in the lands of the North when they encountered a weary tired human traveler named Raki. Priscilla was drawn to Raki due to his clothing holding the scent of Clare who had the blood of Teresa on her. Isley noted that Priscilla was drawn to Raki and decided to allow the boy to accompany them as he did not know their true nature. During their travel, the amnesiac Priscilla began to sense the Yoki aura of Clare who had tapped into her Yoma side to fight against Rigaldo. Upon sensing this aura, Priscilla felt that same power of Teresa causing her to remember her past and she went to Pieta. Upon arriving, she came to remember her past and believed that Clare was Teresa leading to her return to her Awakened Being form. This saw Priscilla deciding to kill 'Teresa' once more and she prepared for the battle against her.
Overview
Personality and attributes
Following her transformation into a Claymore, Priscilla appeared as a mid-teen with blond hair and silver eyes with her wearing a standard warrior uniform of her organization. Once fully awakened, she resembled a skeletal, demonic being with angelic appearance with reptilian wings and a single horn on the forehead.
From her childhood, she maintained a close relationship to her father who was very kind to her and whom she loved greatly. It was this fact that made her constantly wish for her father to still be alive. Her personality retained these child-like qualities and being emotional distraught even to her adulthood. As a Claymore, she was noted to hold an intense hatred of Yoma unlike any other warrior. It was because of this fact that she viewed Teresa as being evil after she was told by the Organization that the first ranked Claymore had killed a number of humans. This was seen by her as being an unforgiveable act with her wanting to eliminate Teresa for such a crime.
As a Claymore, she was loyal to the Organization and attempted to fulfil the order to kill Teresa. She felt that Teresa had committed an unforgivable crime by betraying the Organization. She saw the world in black and white with her seeing those that killed humans being evil. Priscilla believed that there was a trust forged between Claymores and humans with any rules of the Organization breaking that trust. Despite her commitment to killing her, she believed in honor and did not participate in the initial ambush of her target. She instead desired to fight Priscilla as a warrior which was why she disapproved of the tactics to kill Teresa. Priscilla argued with Elena when they as a group of four Claymores had surrounded their target with her stating that they did not even treat Yoma in this manner. Despite her reservations, she was ordered by Elena to eliminate her target and she complied.
As an Awakened Being, she began to suffer from the same cravings of the Yoma namely for flesh. Her memories were limited to the time prior to awakening with her still believing that she was a Claymore. Thus, she saw herself still as being a warrior of the Organization and the Number 2 Claymore. She did not see herself as doing anything wrong and instead saw those opposing her as monsters that sided with Yoma who had committed atrocities such as killing her family. She had admitted to eating some useless flesh but nothing more and that she was far from being a Yoma who she found as being despicable that needed to die. Though Awakened, there were moments where her psyche reverted back to her human self where she returned human but without any memory of her past until a strong trigger restored her fractured mind.
Powers and abilities
Originally, she was a simple ordinary human with no great power to herself until she was taken in by the Organization. As a Claymore, she was powerful enough to fight without releasing her Yoki allowing her to conceal her presence from her fellow sister warriors. This made her seem as an ideal fighter against Teresa who operated by sensing Yoki auras. Such was her potential that in the span of months, she quickly was assigned the position of No. 2 in the Organization causing reigning Claymore of that position Elena to drop a rank lower as a result. Teresa feared that in time, Priscilla's power could increase and even perhaps surpass her own.
As with the case with Claymores, Priscilla expended too much power in her attempt to kill Teresa causing her to surpass her limit. This meant that she could not revert back to being human and ultimately led to her transformation into an Awakened Being. As an Awakened Being, she was far taller than a human with purple skin, wings and short yellow hair along with a distinctive horn on her forehead. Her wings gave her the power to fly allowing her to journey to distant locations. In this form, she was able to manipulate her flesh to produce weapons to attack her enemies. A typical tactic she used was launching her fingers as long tentacles to pierce the flesh of her targets. She used this move to spear through organs or the face of her target in order to neatly kill them.
However, even by this point, Priscilla had not fully Awakened until her battle with Claymores at a volcano in the frozen Northern Territory. It was said that she was perhaps considered the most powerful Awakened Being in history. Priscilla was said to hold so much power that she was very imposing even to skilled more warriors. Following her transformation, she had a much more heavily armored form that molded around her body. Priscilla's power allowed her to even respond to remarkable levels of speed and interaction such as catching Miriya's phantom movements or catching a sword thrown at her by sending it back at the enemy. She was able to launch green sharp quills from her wings that pierce the flesh of any target that was hit by her. Her fingers could launch with such fine precision as being able to cut off a warrior's hands. As she grew more serious in a fight, she began to manifest more weapons through her Awakened flesh such as forming green glowing blades from her forearms.
