Professor François

Prof. François was a French scientist and colleague of Benton Quest's who, with his assistant Erik, had set up a lab in a haunted mansion in Venice, Italy. François along with Erik had invented a machine capable of detecting ectoplasmic energy within the house, to thus determine the presence of ghosts. He hoped to patent the device with Quest's help. Unfortunately, an evil spirit used the machine's power to grow stronger, and attacked the scientists. François and Erik were pulled inside of a closet where the ceiling descended upon them. Admist the chaos, Race Bannon was unable to reach the trapped scientists in time, and they were crushed to death.
