Professor Winser

Professor Winser was a scientist who worked at the Nuton Power Complex. He went inside Axos with the Doctor and Horatio Chinn to speak to the Axons, and was with them when the lead Axon presented the delegation with a sample of Axonite. An extremely arrogant and self-important man, although Winser vouched for the Doctor and wanted him kept on hand to help with the analysis of the Axonite back at the Nuton labs, he clashed numerous times with the vastly more knowledgeable Time Lord. Ultimately, when the Doctor's attempt to experiment with Axonite went awry, Winser was killed in a doomed attempt to contain the situation when the expanding Axonite absorbed him and turned him into more of itself.
