The Project 9 was a group that featured in the TV series of War of the Worlds.
Background
Project 9 was a shadowy black ops covert agency that existed within the U.S. government and served as a dark counterpart to the Blackwood Project. This agency was also tasked with dealing with the Mor-Taxan threat but rather then resisting, the Project's aims was the acquisition and study of the alien technology as well as research.
