Whilst a captive in New Canaan, Tetherblood came to find the artificial intelligence embedded deep within the techno-organics that had infected Nathan Dayspring Summers. Once freed, the A.I. called itself a friend and confidante to Nathan where he called himself the Professor. (Askani'son v1 #1)

Professor briefed Cable who had returned to the future on research on an 'Awakening' sighting of a High Lord with it suspected that Sam Guthrie being one of their number. (X-Force v1 #8)

Professor

In the present day, Cable consulted with his computer and asked Professor on any new developments in the research of a new Awakening. Professor informed him of Samuel Guthrie and reports of him existing in the 24th century suggesting he was an Externals High Lord. Upon reviewing the data, Cable began to wonder whether Professor was correct on Guthrie. (X-Force v1 #8)

Prosh

The Phalanx's attempts to assimilate information at the base failed and its body came to be destroyed. However, in the process, its Techno-Organic form became the basis for a body that was housed by the Professor who now took the name Prosh. The transformation though drained his energy and he was unable to move when he was found by Domino who took him to meet the rest of X-Force. (X-Force v1 #39)

Cable to no longer trust the Professor after the artificial intelligence was believed to had been compromised by Stryfe. This led to him abandoning the use of him in favour of a home-brew A.I. that was called Belle. (Cable v4 #10)
