History
The Puzzle Of God (P.O.G) were a secret think tank organisation responsible for the creation of complex puzzles.
In the initial activation of the Puzzle of God, an individual entered an underground ruin to confront a life-threatening structural challenge known as a Sage Puzzle. The participant navigated a subterranean labyrinth and located a massive, circular stone chamber containing a complex mechanical puzzle. Upon entering the center of the chamber, the individual triggered a mechanism that sealed the exits and initiated a collapsing floor sequence, requiring the immediate identification of a specific geometric path to avoid a fatal fall. As the physical environment shifted, the individual utilized a golden armlet known as the Orpheus Ring, which enhanced neural activity and accelerated cognitive processing to visualize the puzzle's solution in a three-dimensional space. The participant moved across specific stone tiles in a precise sequence while dodging falling debris and managing the rapid disintegration of the platform. After reaching the final trigger point, the mechanical trap deactivated, the structural collapse ceased, and the individual successfully retrieved a hidden contract from within the puzzle’s core. The completion of these actions resulted in the individual being formally recognized as a candidate capable of solving the puzzles of God.
Overview
In appearance, the Puzzle of God were a clandestine and highly structured international organization that functioned as a shadow group of puzzle creators and evaluators. The group operated with an extreme level of formality and secrecy, maintaining a hierarchy that oversaw the construction of lethal Sage Puzzles in hidden locations across the globe. Their primary goals and objectives were centered on the discovery and cultivation of "Phi Brains"—individuals with the peak intellectual capacity to solve the ultimate Puzzles of God. They acted as a testing body, designing life-threatening challenges to filter out those who lacked the requisite cognitive acceleration or the potential to utilize the Orpheus Ring. Regarding their clothing and costumes, the representatives and operatives of the organization favored highly formal, stylized attire that indicated their status and institutional affiliation. This included structured suits, high-collared jackets, and elaborate uniforms featuring geometric motifs or the organization's distinct emblem. Their dress was uniform in its precision, reflecting the rigid and mathematical nature of the puzzles they governed, while some members wore specialized accessories like the Orpheus Ring, a gold-toned, circular armlet that served as both a tool for neural enhancement and a symbol of their elite standing.
It's Givers were responsible for giving out complex puzzles known as Philosophers Puzzles. The purpose was a person to solve these complex tests to find one worthy to solve the Puzzle of God. It was believed by the organisation that the solving of this final puzzle would bring them to equal status with god. Membership of its Givers could be suspended for misconduct and breaking of the rules. Among the rules was not to create a puzzle that had no solution.
The operatives and candidates associated with the organization demonstrated highly specialized cognitive and physical abilities centered on advanced problem-solving and environmental navigation. The primary skill displayed was an extreme level of deductive reasoning and spatial awareness, allowing for the rapid analysis of complex geometric patterns and mechanical systems under intense duress. Through the use of the Orpheus Ring, an individual exhibited accelerated neural synchronization, which manifested as a significant increase in brain wave activity and the ability to visualize the internal mechanics of a structure in a three-dimensional mental projection. This heightened state allowed for the prediction of falling debris trajectories and the identification of safe passage through shifting terrain. Physically, the individuals displayed high levels of agility, balance, and reflexes, which were necessary to traverse crumbling platforms and leap across gaps while maintaining the mental focus required for calculation. Additionally, the group showed proficiency in engineering and architectural design, as evidenced by the creation of massive, automated subterranean traps that functioned through intricate gear systems and weight-sensitive triggers. These capabilities were utilized to manipulate the physical environment and test the limits of human intelligence and survival instincts.
