Biography
Rin Okumura (Japanese: 奥村 燐, Hepburn: Okumura Rin) was a male Nephilim who was born when his mother Yuri Egin (ユリ・エギン Yuri Egin) became pregnant with the twin children of Satan. This saw her having two sons with Rin being the older twin whilst he had a younger brother who came to be named Yukio Okumura. Rin was designated as Child M where an exorcism ceremony was being conducted on his mother with a cradle barrier being put into effect. In that time, the demonic child shot from his mother where he was covered in flames causing the barrier to be dispelled with exorcists attempting to kill the half demon child. He though kept moving all around the area where his blue flames caused them all to be burnt to death.

Personality and attributes
In appearance, Rin Okumura was a male human with messy, jet-black hair that swept down on his pale skin and intense blue eyes. As a result of his parentage, he was also referred to the title of the Son of Satan (サタンの息子 Satan no Musuko).
He was an extremely compassionate and supportive personality who had a kind heart.
At first, Rin was unaware of his biological father and instead was raised by his adoptive parent Shiro Fujimoto (藤本獅郎 Fujimoto Shirō). Though hiding it, Rin loved his adopted father a great deal and had nothing but praise for him. This meant though that he deeply regretted that the last thing they did was fight which was when Satan had taken over Shiro Fujimoto's body.
Powers and abilities
Okumura was born as the child of Satan and a human exorcist making him of the race of hybrids known as the Nephilim. As a result, he had incredible potential as he could use his full demonic powers in Assiah unlike full-blooded demons who were unable to wield their full might due to the cost of degrading their human vessels. He possessed high-speed regeneration that allowed him to recover from fatal or near-fatal wounds at astonishingly high speeds, giving him an extreme amount of durability. It was shown that he was able to close a serious stab wound within mere minutes or even re-attach a severed limb.
A result of his heritage meant that he possessed the Flames of Satan (魔神の炎,サタンのほのお Satan no Honō) that were fiery Blue Flames (青い炎,あおいほのお Aoi Honō). This gave him pyrokinetic abilities whereby he was able to create and control flames with his mind. Much of Rin's powers were contained when his demonic heart was sealed within the demon slaying blade Kurikara. In times of extreme emotion, small blue flames were released even when the sword was sheathed. Rin though underwent training to control his blue flames to ensure he was not consumed by them and reverted to his feral state when he drew Kurikara. The most basic ability he came to learn was pyrokinesis with this power where he could create and control fire with his mind. He attained sufficient enough control over his blue flames to create techniques by releasing flames from his sword in a more coordinated manner.
He made use of a unique Maken demon sword named Kurikara (倶利加羅クリカラ Kurikara) that had been created by Mephisto Pheles.

Due to his sheltered life, he was initially unaware of the existence of demons where upon learning of this he came to be inducted into the True Cross Order(正十字騎士團 Seijūji Kishidan). This saw him being sent to True Cross Academy (正十字学園 Sei Jūji Gakuen) where he underwent training to become an Exorcist (祓魔師エクソシスト Ekusoshisuto). Unlike his brother though, he lacked any formal training when he started at the rank of Page which meant that though he had the power he lacked the skill to sometimes fight lower ranking demons. Over time, he came to improve through his training and studies where he developed aspirations to become a Knight (騎士,ナイト Naito).
