Biography

Rond Vidar was the son of Universo and was born in the 30th century. (Adventure Comics v1 #349)

Overview

Personality and attributes

He was opposed to his fathers schemes and actively worked to stop them. Despite that, he still held Universo as his father and was sad after his arrest. (Adventure Comics v1 #349)

Powers and abilities

Vidar was shown to had been an accomplished inventor and scientist with one of his inventions being the Time Cube. This collapsible device could transport matter through the fourth dimension of time with it being to project objects either to the future or past. It operated on similar principles as the Time Bubble where it utilised gamma-vibro-radiation allowing it to go faster-than-light in order to crack the time barrier. However, unlike the bubble, the Cube itself did not transport itself through time but only the objects within it. Thus, it transported individuals to a fix spot with the doorway back only existing for a period of 24 hours. If the travellers did not return in that time then they were stranded in whatever time period they were transported to by the Cube. The machine could shrink itself to transport objects or be enlarged to transport people through time. (Adventure Comics v1 #349)

He came to be a wielder of a Green Lantern Power Ring allowing him to manifest its green energy to achieve multiple feats. (Legion of Super-Heroes v3 #50)
