Biography
Rygel XVI
Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Rygel XVI was a male Hynerian that was a very short, bipedal, amphibian-like alien creature that lacked a standard humanoid skeletal posture. He possessed a highly bloated, greenish-brown pear-shaped body covered in a mixture of smooth skin and coarse, bristly hairs along his back and limbs. His oversized head sat directly on his heavy torso, sporting two massive, drooping eyebrows with long white hairs, wide-set yellow eyes, a snout-like nose, and a wide mouth featuring a prominent, prehensile tongue that he frequently used to ingest food. He lacked standard human-proportioned limbs, featuring two short, stubby legs and two small, three-fingered hands that he used to gesture wildly while speaking. He wore no traditional clothing or armor, but he remained permanently seated atop a high-tech, metallic floating throne chair equipped with a plush velvet cushion, allowing him to maintain eye level with taller species despite his diminutive physical height. Powers and abilities
Rygel XVI belonged to the Hynerian race, which naturally granted him the biological traits of a highly specialized, multi-stomached digestive system capable of processing almost any organic matter, alongside an extreme metabolic reaction that caused him to explosively discharge helium gas when under immense physical or emotional stress. He did not possess direct innate superhuman strength, passive organic flight, or physical combat agility, relying instead on his exceptionally sharp political cunning, deceptive manipulation tactics, and vast knowledge of galactic lore. He demonstrated an advanced resistance to many standard cosmic toxins and extreme environmental pressures due to his aquatic evolutionary ancestry. His primary capabilities allowed him to masterfully negotiate high-stakes underworld trade deals, exploit the psychological weaknesses of his captors, and decipher complex galactic political systems to ensure his personal survival across the uncharted territories.
