Biography
Sagat (Japanese: サガット Hepburn: Sagatto, Thai: สกัด Sakat) was a male human born in the modern age in Thailand. From a young age, he showed an affinity for fighting with him being in constant brawls on the streets as a child. One of these led to significant injuries to his right eye that became a weak point in his body. In time, he came to realise that he could no more from fighting on the streets and decided to take him martial arts. This saw him learning Muay Thai in order to discipline himself and to grow stronger. Whilst growing up, he came to pick himself back up from his early defeats where over time his large size became an advantage for him in his fight. At 15 years old, he was able to reach the top as a champion in the world of Muay Thai. A year later, he encountered a challenger in the form of Go Hibiki who refused to give out his name. Sagat came to fight on an event level but Go came to notice his opponent's weak right eye and thus targeted it. This led to one of his attacks landing and gouging out Sagat's right eye where in anger he retaliated with using his signature Tiger Shot that destroyed Go. Sometime afterwards, Sagat came to battle Nuakan who was a powerful fighter that held the crown as 'Emperor of Muay Thai' where he managed to defeat his opponent and claim the mantle. Upon witnessing the battle, Adon came to ask Sagat to take him on as his student.
