Sam Masters

Sam Masters was a man was a man camping in the Sierra Mountains with his friends. When a Tyrannosaurus rex phased into reality as a result of the TimeScan, his best friend and fellow camper Harry Plume ended up partially stuck in the creature's body as the result of the T-rex appearing in the same place as him. With no way of freeing Harry, Sam drew the revolver he carried with him and shot him to put him out of his misery.

Notes

• In the comic adaptation, the group are hunters rather than campers and Sam kills Harry with a shotgun rather than a pistol.
