History

Shadow Marshals were a rank within the Interplanetary Strategic Alliance and were a branch within its special forces.

After the war, Shadow Marshal Thomas Sinclair came to establish the Vektan Secuity Agency where the position came to be used to designate a covert operative that worked for a military intelligence unit.

Overview

In appearance, Shadow Marshals were trained covert operatives that wore gear that completely masked their faces.

They were armed with an LSR44 Spoor that were a unique hybrid of carbine and sniper rifle. It's firing mechanism used an electronic, rail-based technology. The design featured open rails to vent built-up plasma to prevent damage to the firing system due to heat.

After the Second Extrasolar War, the arsenal of the Marshals had expanded to include further support for their number in the form of drone weapons. These machines were called OWLs that hovered over the battlefield and were able to provide different levels of support. This included weapons, stun effects, zip-lines, hacking, shields and using adrenaline packs to revive the fallen operative. When not in use, these drones attached themselves to the back of the Marshal.

They were known to make use of stealth ships that were a long range vessel capable of space travel.
