Biography

Shinji Hirako (Japanese: 平子 真子, Hepburn: Hirako Shinji)

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Shinji Hirako was a slender, leanly built humanoid spirit who possessed fair skin, highly alert dark eyes, and a notably prominent, wide toothy grin that frequently exposed a flat line of upper and lower teeth when speaking. His hair was exceptionally straight, bright blonde, and meticulously cut into a short, uniform bob style featuring a sharp, perfectly symmetrical horizontal fringe that draped straight across his forehead. When operating undercover within the mortal world, his civilian uniform consisted of a standard Karakura High School winter outfit, featuring a grey tailored blazer layered over a crisp white collared button-up shirt and a dark, neatly knotted uniform tie. Beneath his student garments, he wore a highly unique, large metallic ring piercing fixed securely through the center of his tongue. When unleashing his supernatural capabilities, he carried a standard, full-length Japanese katana sword equipped with a highly stylized, open circular handguard that he manipulated with fluid coordination. His alternate hollowfied profile featured a lumpy, bone-white ceramic Hollow mask that completely encased his face, displaying a rigid row of vertical skeletal teeth and a smooth, crown-like horizontal ridge running along the top of his skull.

Powers and abilities

Shinji Hirako was born a member of the Soul race where he operated as an elite, exceptionally powerful Shinigami captain before a catastrophic military conspiracy forcefully mutated his spiritual anatomy into a high-tier Visored hybrid. His primary attribute was monstrous dual-type spiritual pressure, which fused his baseline Soul Reaper energies with the predatory, volatile power matrix of a Hollow to grant him an immense level of baseline physical durability and leaping agility. He possessed advanced gravitation manipulation, enabling him to fluidly alter his personal axis to walk, stand, and relax completely upside down in mid-air while remaining entirely unaffected by standard environmental mechanics. His unique biology allowed him to materialize a specialized spiritual armor piece known as a Hollow Mask at will, which temporarily escalated his upper-body striking strength, enhanced his spiritual endurance, and granted him tactical reflexes far exceeding standard captain-level boundaries. Additionally, he was a highly perceptive master of espionage and keen intellect who could instantly see through complex sensory illusions and track hidden energy trails entirely unaided, paired with a practical mastery of advanced Kido spells that enabled him to manipulate a target's consciousness and place a high-tier combatant into an involuntary dream state under extreme psychological stress.
