Biography
Shinoa Hiragi (Japanese: 柊 シノア, Hepburn: Hīragi Shinoa?)
Shinoa Hiragi acted as an official military observer representing the Japanese Imperial Demon Army, tasked with monitoring the high school life and behavioral compliance of a suspended student named Yuichiro Hyakuya. She navigated Second Shibuya High School, where she intercepted Yuichiro Hyakuya during a violent disciplinary confrontation with a classmate, intervening to hand him his official enlistment surveillance paperwork. Later that afternoon, a rogue, lower-tier vampire escaped from a local military containment cell and infiltrated the school grounds, taking a female student hostage inside a classroom. Shinoa Hiragi monitored the threat as Yuichiro Hyakuya breached the room to engage the entity in physical combat. When the student became overwhelmed by the vampire's enhanced physical speed, Shinoa Hiragi intervened directly by calling upon her specialized Cursed Gear. She manifested a massive, green-glowing scythe to easily parry the vampire's incoming strikes, completely pinning the creature to the floor and allowing Yuichiro Hyakuya to deliver the final neutralizing blow. Following the successful elimination of the monster, she formally commended the student's initiative before escorting him out of the facility to arrange his official integration into the elite Moon Demon Company.
Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Shinoa Hiragi was a human Japanese female teenager with a petite, exceptionally short figure and fair skin. She possessed mid-length, wavy lilac-purple hair that she wore intricately pinned up at the back with a large purple bow, styled with two distinct side braids framing her face, and prominent dark brown eyes. Her standard military uniform consisted of a structured, dark gray and black long-sleeved jacket featuring a high collar, double-breasted gold button fastenings down the torso, and light green accents along the cuffs and epaulets. She wore a short, matching pleated dark gray skirt paired with dark, thigh-high socks and practical black dress shoes suitable for rapid battlefield acrobatics. Over her hands, she wore pristine white gloves, and she secured a thin white utility belt featuring a polished golden buckle around her waist. She did not utilize traditional armor, heavy ballistic helmets, or concealment masks, maintaining a highly polished, stylized, and distinct institutional military presentation.
Powers and abilities
Shinoa Hiragi was born a member of the human race but was conceived via artificial insemination using a demon-possessed host, granting her an exceptional biological status far beyond standard human limitations. On a basic feats level, her human physiology provided her with the baseline agility, reflexes, and environmental durability of an ordinary female teenager who had undergone basic military academy conditioning. However, she was an exceptional member of her species due to her absolute emotional detachment, which granted her complete biological immunity to psychic manipulation, dark illusions, and demonic possession.
Her primary innate power relied entirely on her contract with Shikama Doji, a manifestation-type demon sealed inside an object resembling a standard fountain pen. By channeling her spiritual energy, she could instantly transform the pen into a massive, heavy scythe capable of cleaving solid structural materials and permanently neutralizing supernatural entities like vampires. In this active combat state, her physical strength, speed, and sensory perception were drastically heightened, allowing her to generate a localized green energy aura to parry high-speed kinetic impacts and maintain absolute tactical focus under high-stress conditions.
