Silvio was one of the orphaned boys from Reanoto who worked with Aldo. After the arrival of Bianca Freedling, it became Silvio's job to guard her as well as Dino's younger siblings Mario and Maria. He was injured in a confrontation with Corporal Merkel, when Merkel hit him in the face with his gun, but he survived. Later, during the attempt to blow the Della Norte Dam, Silvio remained behind to guard Bianca, Mario and Maria. When a group of German soldiers appeared, Silvio fired on them. He managed to kill a few of them before he himself was cut down by their automatic gunfire and killed.
