Sister Night is a female television character who features in Watchmen.

Biography

Angela Abar was a female human born on January 15, 1976 in Vietnam to Marcus Abar and Elise Abar two years after the country was admitted into the Union as the 51st State of America. As a young child, she was known to had attempted to rent movies that were too mature for her age. On June 1987, she would pick the black mask movie Sister Night to watch on the 16th anniversary of the Victory in Vietnam Day. She brought it to her father to show but he returned it and told her that people who wore masks were dangerous and should be feared. This saw Angela walking back to return the movie when she spotted a Vietnamese puppeteer hand a man on a bicycle a backpack. The man then went towards a group of U.S. Army soldiers where he then detonated a hidden bomb to kill all Americans at the scene. This saw the death of both of her parents that were nearby the scene with Angela witnessing their deaths as she was knocked down by the blast.

Overview

Personality and attributes

At the Tulsa Police Department, she came to adopt the name of Sister Night when she worked as a masked vigilante police officer.

Unknown to her, her paternal grandfather was Will Reeves who actually operated as one of the first masked vigilantes who went by the name of Hooded Justice.

Powers and abilities

Angela was born an ordinary human being with no special powers though she underwent intensive training to become a police officer. Her years in law enforcement led to her becoming a master martial artist.
