Biography
Origin
Skeets
A former BX9 security robot at the Space Museum, Skeets arrived from the 25th century with Booster Gold (Michael Jon Carter) with news headlines for the next 500 years. Booster used this knowledge to become wealthy and to stop disasters before they happened. Their success led to Booster's induction into Maxwell Lord's incarnation of the Justice League. Skeets was apparently dismissed and kept in storage (where he killed time by surfing the Internet) during Booster's tenure in the Justice League, but was reactivated to help with repairs when Doomsday badly mangled Booster's power suit. Although he was unable to fix the suit, Skeets revealed again his utility when Blue Beetle acquired the "Exorian Flesh Driver", an alien technology able to feed off of Booster's particular body energy. Willing to substitute the bulkier substitute armor he was forced to build for Booster, but lacking the proper software, Beetle downloaded Skeets' consciousness into the armor. As the Flesh Driver, Skeets could still counsel and help his owner, but he could also take control of Booster's body and motor functions when Booster was knocked unconscious. He was also in charge of the more advanced features of the suit, "rationing" them to force his owner to a more rational use of the Flesh Driver.
Post-Flashpoint

Notes
- Skeets was created by Dan Jurgens where he made his first appearance in Booster Gold v1 #1 (February, 1986).
Alternate Versions
- In Smallville: Season 11, an alternate version of Skeets appeared in the comic continuation of the television series. In Antarctica, employees of WayneTech, Kord Industries, and Michael Holt's company working on the Super Collider are running from something, when Skeets, in a new form, arrives to announce Booster Gold. Booster proceeds to attack the monster that was chasing the employees only having his Legion ring failing to work because it detects no authorized user in the area. As the monster is about to kill him, Blue Beetle arrives and proceeds to scare the monster off. As the Beetle and Skeets have a conversation of their own, Booster wonders what happened with the ring. Skeets then mention there would be one person who would know what has happened. Later in the Daily Planet, Booster visits Clark Kent and then reveals to him that he knows about his 'Hiatus' which Clark then wonders since Booster is from the future he knew about what was going to happen to Bart. Skeets then said their knowledge of the future is constantly changing. Booster throws Clark his legion ring and asks if he knows what a Legion Protocol Six was but Clark has never heard of it. The moment Clark touches the ring, the ring suddenly activates finding an 'authorized user', causing Clark and Booster to suddenly disappeared in flash of light, leaving a very confused Skeets all alone.
In other media
Television
- In Justice League Unlimited, Skeets made a number of appearances alongside Booster Gold where he was voiced by actor Billy West. Skeets was always at Booster's side. He often acted as his cheering section, presenting a promotional video to baffled onlookers, who nonetheless kept mistaking Booster for Green Lantern. Skeets also acted as a scanning instrument and mobile library to assist Booster in his crime fighting. When the entire Justice League was mobilized to combat the evil sorcerer Mordru, Skeets naturally accompanied Booster, and even acted as a traffic light while Booster was assigned to crowd control. He was particularly valuable in providing Booster with an emergency childbirth procedure when he had to assist a pregnant woman marooned in a crashed ambulance in labor, which nearly made Booster throw up. Booster was initially devastated when Skeets was sucked into the black hole created by Dr. Brown but overjoyed when Skeets was spit out by the collapsing hole. He presumably continued to assist Booster, though he was not seen at his side as constantly.
- In Smallville, Skeets appeared in the setting of the live-action television series in the episode "Booster" where he was voiced by actor Ross Douglas.
- In Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Skeets appeared in the setting of the animated television series in the episode "Menace of the Conqueror Caveman" where he was once again voiced by actor Billy West. He came to be kidnapped by Kru'll the Eternal after Booster revealed what was powering him. Skeets later saves Booster from super-powered versions of Kru'll's henchmen by releasing his charge and reversing Kru'll's ray's effects. He appears with Booster Gold in "A Bat Divided", but did not have a speaking role. Skeets returned in both parts of "The Siege of Starro" with Booster Gold. Skeets was with Booster Gold in "Menace of the Madniks".
- In Justice League Action, Skeets made a minor non-voiced appearance in the animated television series where he appeared in the episode "Time Out". He was present at the Vanishing Point and was used to take a picture of Booster Gold alongside Batman.

- In DC Universe Online, Skeets appeared in the setting of the MMORPG video game where he was voiced by actor J. Shannon Weaver.
