History
When Doc Terror ignited the Van Allen's Belt, it brought increasing temperature to Earth with the disturbance possibly disturbing Sky Vault's teleportation capabilities but it managed to transport the Tidal Wave weapon system to Max Ray. (Episode: Fire in the Sky) The cyborg villain would later stage an assault on Sealab taking control of the base and depriving the Centurions of their weapon systems leaving them with only the ones on Sky Vault. If any of those malfunctioned, it was believed Doc Terror would have won and the reactivated shield at Sealab prevented any teleportation into the underwater facility. Overview
The central computer on Sky Vault was programmed in 17 romantic language though claimed that was similarly not programed to take offense. (Episode: An Alien Affair)
When the station's orbital trajectory took it behind the sun it restricted the beaming capabilities of Sky Vault. (Episode: An Alien Affair)
