- Solomon Jehoahaz Abraham was created by Shinobu Ohtaka where he featured in the setting of the Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic universe.
- The character was based on fictional Middle-East mariner Solomon, an ancient King of Israel in Christian, Islamic, Judaic and Bahai scripture, who supposedly had power over demons where he was mentioned in The Tale of the Fisherman and the Djinn and The Fifth Voyage of Sinbad the Sailor from One Thousand and One Nights.
