Biography

Billy Braddock is Spider-Man in Spider-Verse v2 #4.

William Braddock was an alternate universe version of Spider-Man who was native to Earth-833 in the Multiverse where he eventually became a member of the Captain Britain Corps. (Amazing Spider-Man v3 #7)

He was among the Web Warriors dispatched to find the laboratory of Doctor Octopus which possessed reversed engineered Inheritor cloning technology. In fear of the Inheritors escaping their prison through it, the Spider-Men broke into the hidden lab in an effort to destroy the cloning bank. However, this brought them into conflict with Doctor Octopus who refused to believe their warnings as he could not believe anyone could circumvent his security measures. Ultimately, the Web Warriors were too late and Morlun was reborn in a new clone body on Earth-616 where he killed Spider-Man Noir to sate his appetite. Spider-UK attempted to use his strength to defeat Morlun but he was ambushed from behind by the Inheritor's sister Verna who snapped his neck thus seemingly killing Billy Braddock. (Spider-Geddon v1 #1) After the Inheritors were defeated, the various Spider Totems had a funeral for their fallen comrades on Loomworld with parting words said for Spider-UK. Spider-Gwen later travelled to their respective worlds in order to inform loved ones of their passing including those on Earth-803 where people mourned the demise of William Braddock. (Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider v1 #4)
