Stealth Satellite
The stealth satellite was a weather device created by Dr. Zin and placed in orbit around Earth. In keeping with Zin's obsession with arthropods at the time, it resembled a spider web when unfolded. A high-intensity beam fired down into the planet's upper atmosphere caused a severe, apocalyptic disruption in the world's weather patterns. Zin planned to have this soften humanity up for invasion by his giant insect army. However, 4-DAC was able to use Zin's own computer virus against him by uploading it into the computer of the villain's asteroid base, granting control of the entire facility, as well as the satellite, to Jonny Quest, who turned it over to I-1 Central Command. Commander Harris ordered the satellite turned against Zin, and it was used to heat up and destroy his fortress.
