The Steltek were an advanced species that featured in the Wing Commander universe.

Background

The Steltek once ruled a galaxy spanning empire millenia ago and their technology was the most advanced ever known; far more sophisticated compared to even present technology. However, the Steltek grew weary of their power and retreated from known space to the center of the galaxy in order to live a tranquil life. Despite this, many pieces of their technology were left behind.
