Overview
Personality and attributes
After gaining her powers, she operated as a superhero where she came to be known as Strange Visitor. (Superman v2 #149)
Powers and abilities
She was able to unleash electric energies to achieve a variety of feats. With her electro-magnetic powers, she was able to analyse the atomic structure of her foe. For defence, Strange Visitor was able to create an electromagnetic shield around her to protect her from harm. Strange Visitor could alternatively shoot out powerful electrical energy blasts from her hands. Sharon also had the ability to instantly teleport between two locations where she turn into electrical energy and reform herself elsewhere. It was said that her powers fluctuated with her emotional state where in anger she could unleash energy that threatened to fry everyone around her. (Superman v2 #149)

- Strange Visitor was created by Randall Frenz and Ron Frenz where she made her first appearance in Superman v1 #149 (October, 1999).

Television
- In Young Justice, Sharon Vance made her first appearance in the animated television series second season Invasion where she was voiced by actress Masasa Moyo. She was shown as being a normal non-powered tour guide at a LexCorp facility in Smallville that was creating the new Reach drink for consumption by the public.
