Stripe (Gremlins)

Stripe was the leader of the mogwais that sprung from Gizmo when he was accidentally doused with water. Stripe (so named for the stripe of white fur atop his head) was a malicious creature from the beginning. Upon his metamorphosis into a gremlin, Stripe became downright evil, making attempts to harm the family of Billy Peltzer, his former owner, and Gizmo, who was effectively his father.

He managed to create an army of gremlins from himself (by jumping into a swimming pool), that wreaked havoc on the small town Billy lived in, but all of these were destroyed in a movie theatre. Stripe himself escaped, and pursued Gizmo and Billy to a department store- he was eventually destroyed when he jumped into a fountain, hoping to reproduce again, but was doused with sunlight at the same time. All that remained of Stripe after this lethal combination was a skeleton covered in green goo.
