Superboy (Jonathan Samuel Kent)

Jonathan Samuel Kent was the son of Superman and Lois Lane. (Superman: Lois and Clark v1 #1) He was born from an alternate reality set in the time of the Infinite Crisis where Metropolis had been abducted by Brainiac who kept its inhabitants contained within a bottle city on Telos. In there, Clark Kent and Lois Lane remained trapped for nine months where conditions left Kal-El powerless. During this time, the pair became romantically involve with Lois being pregant with Clark Kent's child. (Convergence: Superman v1 #1) The child was later born when the barriers between the bottle cities went down leading to battles between them. In this time, an alternate version of Batman came to be responsible for helping deliver the child with Lois giving birth to a healthy baby boy who they named Jonathan Samuel Kent. (Convergence: Superman v1 #2) Afterwards, the child's parents came to relocate to the Prime Earth reality and sought to raise their son together who was unaware of his heritage. (Superman: Lois and Clark v1 #1)
