Biography

Susan Andreovna Ivanova (Russian: Сьюзен Иванова, Hebrew: סוזן איבנובה) was a female human born on Earth on August 10, 2230. (Episode: Eyes)

In the days afterwards, Ivanova was in a daze and felt lost without Sheridan to command the station. Despite that, she attempted to continue his efforts in holding the alliance together. Unfortunately, the League of Non-Aligned Worlds came to believe that the resultant lull in fighting from the Shadows retreat on all fronts meant that the war was over. Instead of dedicating forces to the alliance, they looked to moving their ships to bolster their respective homeworlds. Thus, she was unable to hold the alliance together with their forces further depleted as a result. Afterwards, she had a brief meeting with Vir Cotto who revealed that from messengers from the Shadows that it was believed Sheridan had died after plunging off a cliff on Z'ha'dum. (Episode: The Hour of the Wolf)

Overview

Personality and attributes

When she was young, her father would refer to her as dushenka moya (Russian: "my little soul"). (Episode: Born to the Purple) Her father was an accomplished author, critic and a noted pacifist. He was critical of Earthforce and humanity's role in space as he believed mankind should not travel to other worlds but instead live peacefully on Earth. (Episode: TKO)

Her mother was noted for being telepathic but kept her abilities hidden for much of her life. (Episode: Midnight on the Firing Line)

She later came to confess that she thought that she loved Talia. (Episode: Ceremonies of Light and Dark)

Powers and abilities

It was noted that she had an eidetic memory allowing her to remember anything she had seen or heard. (Episode: Between the Darkness and the Light)
